A TRUE 7 MILLION CANDLE POWER
The Plasma Beam is like no other portable light in the World. To appreciate the magnatude of the power difference of the Plasma-Beam to the next closest competitor is something you have to see. The arc is modulated at about 200 times a second. The driver pushes the 100W
bulb to produce a peak 7 million cande power at the peak of each pulse. To
the human brain, as well as video cameras, the aparent light power is 7
million CP. The modulation speed can be "strobed" to turn the light into a
tool for incapacitating people. This feature is intended for law enforcement
and military only.
The Plasma Beam comes with
a 12V battery in a carry case, a plug in the wall smart charger, a padded
Pelican case, and the light. The 900nm. IR filter is extra. The current design
is also available with different cord and harness configurations for specific
missions. Very few of the agencies who fielded this system in covert opperations
can admit it was used. It is even gets a mention by Tom Clancy. This is serious
equipment that is only now becoming begrudgingly available. Beside being able
to light up targets miles away, it has great potential as a alternative to the
use of deadly force. This is something that can also be used by the military
for "peace keeping missions".
The unit is water proof and can be configured for use on submarines.
