The MP5SD has 6 small holes that vent the barrel into a chamber inside the suppressor about halfway down the barrel. This slows the bullet down and makes it sub-sonic. The gas goes into an expansion chamber, then it is bled into a spiral passage which vents out at the front chamber of the suppressor. It really is the best there is. You hear the gun cycling, the brass hitting the ground, and the lead hitting the target.

The guns below are all conversions. (not factory)
