M23 / SOCOM Laser Aiming System

SUPER ACCURATE * SUPER RUGGED * COMPACT * MULTI-BEAM

At S. K. Industries, our belief is that the laser aimer must be built separate from the flashlight so that the accuracy of the laser is not defeated by the much larger mass of the flashlight. Manufacturers who try to combine the two will have to compromise the laser's accuracy, and the power of the flashlight. We believe that laser accuracy,( ability to hold zero),is #1 priority.

The exterior of the system is clean and very natural looking mounted to the weapon. Here you also see one way to mount a SF 3V Tac light when using the laser. The Universal Laser unit can be taken off the M23 mount and with other mounts, be connected to almost any other weapon

Two threaded holes pass through the body of the Universal laser. This allows the user to mount the unit on either side for right or left hand use. The hole pattern and thread size are compatible with the Sure Fire weaver rail used on the SF H&K PDW mount. On the rear of the laser is located the wavelength toggle switch, and the Battery cap. The user has easy access to the toggle switch and can switch from visible to IR without fear of accidental change to visible during a covert mission. The battery can be removed while the system is mounted to the weapon. The system is water-proof and designed to have few spare parts or required maintenance

The standard configuration Universal Laser three beam system centers the two primary Vis/IR pointing beams close to the barrel axis, and positions the secondary IR illumination beam to one side. The lens of the illumination beam laser is adjustable to allow the user to go from distance shooting to CQB. The second IR laser provides superior CQB illumination, with or without the use of IR filtered flashlights. The second IR laser is capable of providing almost 180 degrees of IR illumination allowing the user to see threats hiding in corners upon entry. The primary IR targeting beam is always bright and on target.

Laser unit shown mounted for right handed shooter. The activation controls are very simple for a good reason. In a combat situation, you don't want to be thinking about what button you are supposed to be pushing. We use a continuos laser beam with no blinking or adjustable blink rate. The momentary laser spot is delivered to the target without affecting the shooter's grip or trigger pull. No using the off hand to activate the laser. The change from visible to infra-red is fast simple, no complicated button pushing sequences.

M23/SOCOM Mount

The M23/SOCOM mount for the universal laser is solid aluminum. The finish is a bead blasted Black anodizing. The captive stainless steel main mounting bolt is knurled and slotted to allow for easy mounting and removal. The large head of the bolt lets you put enough torque to prevent the system from coming loose during firing. The whole thing goes off and on in seconds and it will hold zero.
