Here is a close up of a dual beam K-grip laser mounted on a PDW, and the right side of a MP5 equiped with a LAW-17 single beam laser built into a Laser Products 628 system. The shroud is intended to resemble the shroud on the HK front sight post. The shroud also provides added protection to the laser diode assembly from impacts that may cause missalignment.
