If you are thinking of getting in to law, then you need to be aware of how difficult it can be. You may think that it will be a great job to be in. Solicitors are well known for being paid well and having lots of work. It might seem like the perfect job.
However, the training is difficult and takes a long time. Many people find that they do not manage to pass the training course. You may also be self employed and this means that you will have to work hard to get clients and this could be difficult for you and so you may not manage to get a good income. You also need to stay up to date with current cases. You need to be aware of the results of cases so that you can quite these during your case. This means that you have to work hard all of the time making sure that you keep up to date.
So although it is a well paid job, it is hard work, not just to do the job but also to train and you may find that there are easier options for you, than being a lawyer.
